Public website
This site has no accounts, forms, chat, advertising or intentional analytics cookies. Hosting and network providers may process ordinary connection information to deliver and protect it.
Hosted web app
The web app runs on shinyapps.io. Entries and provider requests are processed in that hosted session. The public Chartwell Library is read-only and visitors cannot change shared charts or Chart Packs.
Provider keys
FRED or market-data keys entered in the web app remain in the current session and are not saved inside chart definitions. Hosting platforms and data providers apply their own privacy terms.
Mac app
The Mac app keeps its Library, backups, caches and logs in the user’s macOS account. Provider credentials use macOS Keychain. Live searches still contact the selected data provider.

Links to the hosted app, X and data providers lead to third-party services. Their policies apply once you leave this website.
